About the Company
e:volve is a forward thinking company located in the north-east of Ireland. e:volve was established in 2004 and ever since has been in the business of sales and repairs of computers & technology. We mainly work with home users, schools, non-profit organizations and small to medium sized businesses all over the north-east.
Core Philosophy
We strongly believe that simplicity in the understanding of computers can actually be achieved.
In every sale we process or repair we complete we aim to make the technical aspects completely transparent for the customer. While our processes are far from plain or simple we are constantly striving to introduce elements of simplicity in the final result. This continues to progress with every project we undertake through:
1. Discovery & Research
An exploratory approach to learning about new technologies before they become available and the latest threats and problems before they strike.
2. Provision of Information
Our first step towards simplicity is to analyze existing requirements and clarify the goal. Provision of information works both ways. We gain an understanding of the customers requirements and can then meet these requirements in a more percise way.
3. Work Process
Whether it's finding the technical hardware or software to meet your requirements or choosing the right process to solve your technical problems in the most cost effective manner possible, we thoroughly enjoy pushing the limits of our ability and knowledge. Every job is different and individual.
4. Delivery Process
A quality product or an excellent service can speak for itself. Our approach to computers reduces confusion and aids more accurate decision making, which in turn produces better results. We employ a time tested and continually improved system for reaching your goals which means less cost while removing the margin for errors.
The People Who Work Here
Coming most recently from the worlds largest PC multimedia company our engineers are enthusiasts who enjoy the technical challenge. They have held senior technical positions in world wide multinational companies gaining the kind of real world hands on experience that no amount of training can replace. They have worked on computers since they have existed and even do it in their spare time for fun.
Our sales advisers enjoy their roles and continue to carry on our ideals. They have all had previous customer facing experience working in retail and customer service and are very experienced in at least one or more areas of consumer electronics.
We support education at all levels. We currently work with many Irish national schools installing new equipment and giving a new lease of life to older machines. We make a point of giving discounts from 30% to 50% and more on all labour or call-outs for national schools. If you would like to know more about our educational offering please call (online details coming soon – please phone for info).
Our Recycling Program: e:volve repairs all makes and brands of PCs and laptops. Occasionally equipment is damaged beyond repair, or may not meet the users needs. Under these circumstances it’s components may be reused or it may be refurbished and passed on free of charge to a primary school or registered charity. If it is too old, we will recycle it here in Ireland in accordance with the European WEEE directives.
Environmental Responsibility

Over the past few years we have had a growing sense of our responsibility for the environment. We started with little things like using recycled paper in the office and turning off all possible equipment when we finished work and although those are good things, we have realized it simply is not enough.
Even though our company works with digital products and we utilise electricity, purchase electronics, use paper and generate a small amount of waste we continously work towards a zero waste goal.
